If you do not agree with them, the simplest option is not to use the site. These terms cover only this website — the independent USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) guide you are reading — and not usaco.org or any other site we link to.

No. en.usaco.org.cn is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO), the organization that runs the contest at usaco.org. We are an independent resource that explains how USACO works and offers optional tutoring — nothing on this site is official USACO communication, and we do not speak for the contest organizer.

We use the name “USACO” and “USA Computing Olympiad” only to identify and describe the competition we write about. If you are looking for the official contest, registration, or results, those live at usaco.org, not here.

The content here is provided for general guidance only. We research each page carefully and check facts against usaco.org on a best-effort basis, but the competition evolves — schedules, division rules, promotion cutoffs and eligibility can all change, sometimes mid-season. We make no warranty that everything on the site is complete, current, or error-free, and the site is offered as-is.

Before you rely on any date, rule or requirement for an actual contest, confirm it on the official site at usaco.org. Our own competition guide pulls the picture together in one place, but usaco.org is always the final word.

This guide links out to independent websites — most often usaco.org, and references such as mitadmissions.org. Those sites are run by separate organizations, and we do not control their content, availability, or policies. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for anything you find on a site we link to. When you follow an external link, the terms and policies of that other site apply, not ours.

No. We offer optional USACO tutoring, and you are welcome to ask about it. Reaching out — whether through our contact page or on WeChat — is an inquiry, not a binding contract, and by itself it creates no obligation on either side. Any actual tutoring arrangement, including its scope, schedule and fees, is agreed separately and directly before it begins.

Descriptions of tutoring on this site are general information, not a formal offer, and nothing here guarantees a particular score, promotion, or result in the competition.

The original writing, layout and graphics on en.usaco.org.cn are our own work; please do not republish them as your own. Names such as “USACO”, “USA Computing Olympiad”, “IOI” and “EGOI” belong to their respective owners and appear here only to identify and describe the competitions we cover.

Official contest problems, solutions and other materials remain the property of usaco.org and the organizations that created them — we link to them rather than reproduce them. Where we show a screenshot or photo, its source or attribution is credited in the caption. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, contact us and we will address it.

Yes. We may update these Terms of Use as the site grows or as the competition changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown here, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any single provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
